Don’t judge, I’ve been loving my Aritzia Kent blazer way too much lately, but it’s such a versatile item.
I’ve seriously been loving Target lately! They have a lot of cute clothing and shoes and I’ve been really impressed with the quality and variety of items in stores. I’d really been needing a pair of spring boots to wear on days when it wasn’t rainy, and on a whim I found these babies for only $40.
They look nearly identical to the Steve Madden boots that go for around $100, except these are obviously faux leather. I’ve worn them nearly every day since I bought them and they’ve held up nicely so far.
Have you found any cute spring boots? Let me know in the comments!
I’ve lived in Ottawa for five whole years now, and for the first time since I’ve lived here I ventured into Urban Outfitters. I haven’t been into this store since I lived in Toronto, and I can’t for the life of me figure out why…
I tried on this shirt, which was $70. I didn’t end up getting it, which I was disappointed about, but it was a bit more than I was looking to spend. The shirt was very flattering and was super soft! I find a lot of plaid shirts to fit very boxy, but this one was cut nicely.
I’ve been looking for a green plaid shirt for a while, so if anyone knows where I can find one that’s less expensive, please let me know in the comments!
Today’s outfit of the day is inspired by spring blooms, which haven’t made an appearance yet in Ottawa. I picked up this floral dress for only $26.50 at Garage. Patterns aren’t usually my thing, but I am trying to go outside my comfort zone this season.
I went out on Friday and had the chance to wear some of the new things I bought recently, most notably my new body chain I found at Aldo! The weather is also finally starting to warm up, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear a skirt.
Spring has sprung… Well, kind of. At least my nails are bright and cheery and I sound slightly less depressed in my posts.
Resort Fling, from Essie’s 2014 collection of the same name, is a semi-sheer coral-peachy colour that is a mix between a creme and jelly finish. I applied four thin coats for more opacity. It would still look good with three or less, I think. It was my favourite from the entire collection so I only picked this one up! I found mine for $8.95 from Nail Polish Canada.
Have you tried any other colours from Essie’s Resort Fling collection? Let me know in the comments!
I’ve never made an order from Nasty Gal before. Quite frankly, their sizing confuses me, so I regularly go through the motions of adding items to my cart and then closing the screen. I really don’t own a lot of skirts (maybe under three?), and I’ve really been wanting to add more to my collection this spring. Here are the two I’ve been stalking.
Scuba Skater Skirt in Peach, $42
I’ve really been loving pastels and florals for spring. What have you been lusting over lately? Let me know in the comments!
We’re getting 10-15 cms of snow today. How’s that for spring? It definitely still feels like winter and I have absolutely zero desire to paint my nails anything bright or cheery, so instead I did this.
The base coat is Sally Hansen’s “Plum Luck” and the matte topper is NYC’s “Matte Me Crazy!” Then I decided to add Essie’s “Shine of the Times” to not just one, but two nails. Exciting stuff everybody. Now if someone could just deliver spring, I would be happy.
